NexasmartSolution carried out a mission for Elia Belgium, a key player in the Belgian electrical network, by optimizing secondary systems with a focus on telecommunications.

In this context, NexasmartSolution defined technical standards, supervised European tenders, and managed telecom infrastructures ensuring the connection between electrical protection systems and MPLS, TDM equipment. The intervention also covered the deployment and maintenance of fiber optic and Ethernet networks, in collaboration with the Datacom department.

Thanks to this mission, NexasmartSolution has contributed to strengthening the reliability and modernization of the Belgian electrical grid by ensuring robust and high-performance communication infrastructures.

We have entered into a strategic partnership with ORES to accelerate the deployment of fiber optics. This collaboration is based on the use of ORES’s overhead electricity distribution network to expand high-speed internet coverage, particularly in rural areas.

To ensure effective deployment, we have implemented an innovative approach:

• Optimization of installation techniques to ensure maximum coverage.

• Reduction of the digital divide through high-performance internet access.

Once the agreement was signed, we launched the project implementation:

• Gradual rollout across the entire territory to connect 40,000 households and businesses.

• Close collaboration with ORES to ensure a reliable and sustainable service.

Thanks to this initiative, we are actively contributing to the digital development of rural areas while offering a sustainable and accessible technological solution.
